This information may be used to deliver the website and downloads, protect the service, diagnose faults, prevent abuse and understand general service reliability.
4. Streaming-platform information
The Power Reel allows you to connect supported streaming-platform accounts. A platform connection is optional.
The exact information available depends on the platform, the permissions granted and the features you enable.
4.1 Account information
The Power Reel may access or process:
platform user or channel identifier;
channel name;
display name;
profile image;
channel connection status;
live-stream status;
authorisation tokens;
granted permissions;
active broadcast information;
chat-room or live-chat identifiers.
This information is used to connect the correct streaming channel, display the connected account, locate an active broadcast or chat and provide The Power Reel’s requested functionality.
4.2 Chat and participant information
When The Power Reel listens to a live chat, it may process:
chat usernames and display names;
platform user or channel identifiers;
profile images;
chat-message content;
message timestamps;
follower or follow-date information where the platform makes this available and the streamer enables a relevant restriction;
participant status;
eliminated-user status;
winner status;
event-entry and command information.
The Power Reel uses this information to:
detect the streamer’s configured join command;
add users to a participant list;
prevent duplicate entries;
apply follower restrictions selected by the streamer;
prevent eliminated users from rejoining where enabled;
select participants and winners;
display usernames during animations;
manage the current event;
reset platform-specific event state.
The Power Reel does not use live-chat information to build advertising profiles, sell audience lists or target advertising.
4.3 Information about viewers and chat participants
A viewer does not need to create a separate Power Reel account to appear as a participant.
When a viewer sends the configured command in a connected live chat, their platform username, message and related public platform information may be processed by The Power Reel on the streamer’s device.
In normal use, participant and chat information is processed locally as part of the live event. We generally do not receive that information unless:
the streamer deliberately includes it in a support request;
it appears in a diagnostic file submitted to us;
it is necessary to investigate abuse, security or a technical fault;
the information is otherwise sent to a service operated by us.
The streamer controls when The Power Reel is used and is responsible for providing any notices required for their viewers, community or jurisdiction.
5. Google and YouTube data
5.1 Use of YouTube API Services
The Power Reel uses YouTube API Services.
By connecting a Google or YouTube account, you authorise The Power Reel to access the specific Google and YouTube information covered by the permissions displayed on Google’s consent screen.
Google and YouTube process information under their own privacy terms. Read the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
5.2 Google and YouTube information accessed
Depending on the permissions granted and the features available, The Power Reel may access:
your Google-authorised YouTube channel identifier;
YouTube channel name and display information;
channel profile image;
active live-broadcast information;
broadcast and stream identifiers;
active live-chat identifier;
live-chat messages;
live-chat author channel identifiers;
live-chat author display names;
live-chat author profile images;
message timestamps;
OAuth access and refresh tokens;
information necessary to confirm that the authenticated Google account owns or controls the relevant YouTube channel.
5.3 How Google and YouTube data is used
Google and YouTube information is used only to provide user-facing Power Reel features, including:
connecting the selected YouTube channel;
confirming the channel identity;
locating the channel’s active live broadcast;
connecting to the active live chat;
reading new live-chat messages;
detecting the streamer’s configured command;
adding chat users to the event;
displaying the connected channel and profile image;
maintaining the connection until it is disconnected, revoked or expires;
troubleshooting a connection when requested by the user.
The Power Reel does not upload videos, alter video details, post comments, subscribe to channels, like videos or delete YouTube content unless such a feature is clearly introduced in the future and separately authorised by the user.
5.4 Storage of Google and YouTube data
The Power Reel desktop application may store OAuth tokens and connection information locally on the user’s device so that the connection can remain active between sessions.
Live-chat messages are processed for the current event. The Power Reel is not designed to create a permanent archive of a channel’s complete live-chat history.
Participant names and event state may remain in the application until the streamer resets the relevant platform UI, clears the application data or removes the information.
Local diagnostic logs may contain technical connection states, timestamps, API response information and limited platform identifiers. Diagnostic reports are designed to exclude streaming-account access tokens and complete licence keys.
5.5 Sharing and transfer of Google data
We do not sell Google user data.
We do not use Google user data for:
targeted advertising;
advertising profiles;
credit decisions;
data-broker services;
surveillance;
training general-purpose artificial-intelligence models;
unrelated analytics;
marketing unrelated products.
Google user data may only be transferred where necessary:
to provide or maintain the user-facing feature requested by the user;
to communicate with Google or YouTube APIs;
to a service provider acting on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations;
to address a security incident;
to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request;
with the user’s explicit direction or consent.
The Power Reel’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5.6 Revoking Google access
You can stop The Power Reel’s access to Google and YouTube information by:
using the disconnect or logout control inside The Power Reel;
removing the connection through your Google Account’s third-party connections page at https://myaccount.google.com/connections;
reviewing Google Account security permissions at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions;
clearing The Power Reel’s locally stored application data;
uninstalling the application;
contacting us to request assistance.
Revoking access prevents future authorised API access. Information already stored locally may remain until you reset or remove the application data.
5.7 Deleting Google-related information
You may delete locally held Google or YouTube connection information by disconnecting the account, clearing the application’s data or uninstalling The Power Reel.
You may also contact us at ThePowerReel@Akenclose.com to request deletion of Google-related personal information that has been submitted to or retained by us.

live status;
chat messages;
chat-user identifiers;
participant information;
follower information where available and enabled;
OAuth or connection tokens;
connection status.
This information is used only to provide the connection, live-chat, participant-management, eligibility and event functions selected by the streamer.
You can stop access by disconnecting the platform inside The Power Reel, revoking the connection through the relevant platform’s account settings, clearing application data or uninstalling the application.
7. Local application storage
The Power Reel is primarily a desktop application. Much of its operational information is stored locally on the user’s computer.
Local information may include:
settings and preferences;
selected bosses;
favourites;
event text;
participant and eliminated-user state;
output-window positions;
output dimensions;
audio settings;
streaming-platform selections;

temporary media;
diagnostic logs;
licence state.
Local storage may persist until you reset the relevant section, disconnect an account, clear temporary data, remove the application’s data folder or uninstall the application.
Other users with access to your Windows account or computer may be able to access locally stored application data. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Windows user account.
8. Support and diagnostic reports
If you request support, we may process:
your name;
email address;
support category;
subject;
message;
screenshots or recordings you provide;
application version;
Windows information;
installed boss-pack versions;
diagnostic logs;
licence status;
technical error information.
The Power Reel’s diagnostic-report feature is designed not to include your complete licence key or streaming-account tokens.
You should still review any report, screenshot or attachment before submitting it and remove information you do not want to share.
We use support information to:
respond to your request;
diagnose faults;
repair defects;
improve stability and compatibility;
prevent fraud or abuse;
maintain a record of support provided.
9. How we use personal information

We rely on consent where you choose to:

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.

preventing fraud and unauthorised use;
protecting users and systems;
diagnosing faults;
maintaining service reliability;
responding to ordinary support enquiries;

UK law requires a valid lawful basis whenever personal information is processed. The applicable basis depends on the purpose and circumstances of the processing.
11. Sharing personal information
We may share limited personal information with:
Streaming-platform providers
This includes Google, YouTube, Twitch and Kick where necessary to authenticate an account, request API information or provide the selected connection.
Payment and licensing providers
Lemon Squeezy processes purchases as merchant of record and may process payments, taxes, fraud checks and transaction information under its own privacy terms.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
12. International data transfers
Some service providers and streaming platforms may process personal information outside the United Kingdom.
Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism, which may include:
a UK adequacy regulation;
the UK International Data Transfer Agreement;
the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses;
another legally recognised safeguard;
an applicable legal exception.
Information about applicable safeguards may be requested using the contact details in this policy.
13. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Our intended retention periods are:
Streaming connection tokens
Retained locally until the account is disconnected, access is revoked, the token expires, application data is cleared or the application is uninstalled.
Participant and event information
Normally retained for the current event or until the streamer resets the relevant UI, clears the application data or uninstalls the application.
Local diagnostic logs
Retained on the user’s device until cleared, replaced, reset or removed with the application data.
Submitted diagnostic reports
Normally retained for up to 12 months after the related support case is closed, unless longer retention is required for an ongoing defect, dispute, security investigation or legal obligation.
Support correspondence
Normally retained for up to 24 months after the latest substantive contact.
Licence, purchase and transaction records
May be retained for up to six years after the transaction or end of the customer relationship where reasonably necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, consumer disputes or legal claims.
Website security logs
Normally retained for a limited period determined by security, hosting and abuse-prevention requirements.
We may retain information for longer where required by law, necessary for litigation, needed to investigate fraud or requested by the individual.

unauthorised access;
misuse;
loss;
alteration;
disclosure;
destruction.
Measures may include access restrictions, secure transport protocols, token-based authorisation, limited staff access, application isolation, service-provider controls and diagnostic-data minimisation.
No electronic system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, operating system, streaming accounts and passwords.

19. Automated decision-making
The Power Reel does not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.
Random participant selection, winner selection and game outcomes are entertainment functions controlled by the streamer’s event configuration. They are not used for employment, credit, insurance, eligibility for public services or other legally significant decisions.
20. Third-party links and services
The website and application may link to third-party websites, services or account-management pages.
