By purchasing, downloading, installing, activating or using The Power Reel, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not install, activate or use the Application.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age required to enter a binding contract in your country.
A person under 18 may use The Power Reel only where:
a parent or legal guardian has purchased or approved the product;
the Platform account is used in accordance with that Platform’s rules;
the parent or guardian accepts responsibility for the use of the product.
If you use The Power Reel on behalf of a company, organisation or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. The Power Reel service

follower or eligibility restrictions where supported;
animated boss encounters;
Capture Window output;
Transparent Output Window;
Fullscreen Display output;
OBS Browser Source output;
audio controls;
boss libraries and downloadable boss content;
product activation and device management;
application updates and diagnostic tools.
Available features may vary according to:
Application version;
licence type;
installed content;
operating system;
hardware;
connected Platform;
Platform API availability;
location;
third-party account permissions.
4. Purchasing The Power Reel
Purchases may be processed through Lemon Squeezy or another authorised reseller.
Where Lemon Squeezy processes the purchase, Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record for the transaction. Its checkout terms, payment terms and privacy practices also apply to that transaction. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, refunds and chargebacks through its platform.
Prices displayed at checkout may include or exclude applicable taxes depending on your location and the checkout presentation.
You must provide accurate billing and contact information.
You must not:
use stolen or unauthorised payment details;
make a fraudulent purchase;
misuse discounts;
attempt to avoid applicable taxes;
initiate an improper chargeback;
purchase on behalf of another person without authority.
A purchase is not complete until it has been accepted and payment has been confirmed.
5. Software licence
Subject to payment and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable licence to install and use The Power Reel.
Unless the product page expressly states otherwise, the Licence allows use by:
one purchaser;
on up to two activated devices at the same time;
for personal or commercial live-streaming purposes;
in monetised or non-monetised streams;
in recorded videos, clips and video-on-demand recordings created through normal use of the Application.
The Application and Content are licensed, not sold.
Ownership of the Application, source code, Content and intellectual property remains with us or the relevant rights holder.
6. Lifetime licences
Where a product is sold as a Lifetime Licence, this means that the purchaser receives a continuing licence to use the purchased software under these Terms without a recurring subscription fee.
A Lifetime Licence does not mean:
the lifetime of the purchaser;
that every future product or feature will be free;
that every future boss, boss pack or expansion is included;
that third-party Platforms will remain compatible forever;
that support, hosting, APIs or online services can never change;
that compatibility with future operating systems is guaranteed indefinitely.
A valid Lifetime Licence continues to apply to the version lawfully supplied and to any updates expressly made available under that licence.
New boss packs, premium content, major expansions or separate products may be sold separately.
The label Founders Edition does not create additional rights unless the relevant product description expressly states what those additional rights are.
7. Device activation
The Power Reel may require online activation.
Activation may process:
the licence key;
a device identifier;
the device name;
the Application version;
activation status;
activation date;
last-verification date.
Unless otherwise stated, one Licence permits up to two simultaneous device activations.
You may deactivate a device through the Application where that functionality is available.
You must not:
share your licence key publicly;
sell or distribute a licence key;
use one Licence for unrelated users or organisations;
manipulate device identifiers;
bypass activation;
interfere with licence verification;
use technical measures to exceed the device limit.
We may deactivate a Licence where there is reasonable evidence of:
licence-key theft;
fraudulent purchase;
unauthorised distribution;
an upheld chargeback;
abuse of the activation system;
material breach of these Terms.
Where possible, we will provide an opportunity to resolve an apparent activation error before permanently terminating a valid Licence.
8. Bosses, boss packs and additional Content
Individual bosses, boss packs, seasonal bosses, bundles and other downloadable Content may require a separate purchase or entitlement.
A purchase of additional Content grants you permission to use that Content only:
within The Power Reel;
as part of output generated by The Power Reel;
in live streams;
in recordings, clips and screenshots produced through normal Application use;
for promotion of your own streams where the Content appears as part of a Power Reel composition.
You must not:
extract the raw Content for unrelated use;
redistribute the files;
resell the files;
upload the assets as stock media;
create competing products from the assets;
claim ownership of the Content;
remove ownership or copyright information;
use the assets as standalone branding;
use the Content to train an artificial-intelligence model;
mint or sell the Content as an NFT or similar asset;
provide the Content to another person who has not purchased it.
You may continue displaying lawful recordings and clips created before a Licence ends, provided they were created through normal authorised use and are not being used to redistribute the underlying assets.
9. Permitted commercial use
You may use The Power Reel in:
monetised Twitch streams;
monetised YouTube streams;
monetised Kick streams;
sponsored streams;
charity streams;
community events;
recorded stream highlights;
video-on-demand content;
promotional clips for your channel.
This permission does not allow you to:
sell access to the Application itself;
rent the Application;
operate a software-as-a-service version of The Power Reel;
resell boss assets;
distribute modified versions;
sublicense the Application to clients;
share one Licence across unrelated streamers.
Agencies, esports organisations, venues or businesses requiring use across several independent streamers or machines may require a separate commercial arrangement.
10. Streaming-platform connections
You may connect supported Platform accounts to The Power Reel.
By connecting an account, you confirm that:
the account belongs to you or you have permission to use it;
you are authorised to grant the requested permissions;
your use complies with the Platform’s terms;
you understand what permissions are displayed during authorisation.
The Power Reel may use Platform APIs to:
identify the connected channel;
display a username and profile image;
locate an active broadcast;
identify an active chat;
read live-chat messages;
detect event-entry commands;
determine follower eligibility where supported;
manage participant state.
You can disconnect a Platform account through The Power Reel or revoke access through the Platform’s account settings.
Use of connected Platform information is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Third-party platforms
The Power Reel is an independent product.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Power Reel is not:
operated by Twitch;
operated by Google or YouTube;
operated by Kick;
sponsored by those Platforms;
endorsed by those Platforms;
responsible for those Platforms.
Twitch, YouTube, Google, Kick, OBS and other third-party names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Your use of each Platform remains subject to that Platform’s own:
terms of service;
privacy policy;
developer rules;
community guidelines;
promotion rules;
API policies.
A Platform may change, suspend or discontinue an API or feature without our control.
We do not guarantee that every third-party integration will remain continuously available.
12. Events, giveaways and prizes
The Power Reel is a tool for operating interactive stream events. It is not the organiser, administrator, sponsor or promoter of events created by users.
You are solely responsible for:
deciding whether your event is lawful;
preparing any official rules;
clearly stating eligibility conditions;
setting entry and closing times;
describing prizes accurately;
awarding and delivering prizes;
complying with age restrictions;
complying with local laws;
handling taxes, customs or delivery costs;
complying with Platform promotion rules;
resolving disputes with participants;
obtaining any required permissions or licences.
You must not use The Power Reel to operate:
illegal gambling;
an unlawful lottery;
deceptive promotions;
rigged prize draws;
paid entry where this would be unlawful;
events involving prohibited prizes;
events that discriminate unlawfully;
promotions that falsely claim endorsement by a Platform or The Power Reel.
The Power Reel’s random or automated selection functions do not constitute legal certification that an event is a lawful competition, prize draw, sweepstake or promotion.
You should obtain independent legal advice when running a commercial promotion or event involving valuable prizes.
13. Participants and live chat
The streamer controls the event and participant list.
You are responsible for:
choosing an appropriate join command;
informing viewers how participation works;
explaining relevant eligibility conditions;
moderating your community;
removing abusive or ineligible participants;
checking the selected winner;
complying with privacy and Platform requirements.
The Power Reel may process usernames, chat messages and other Platform information to provide event functionality.
You must not use The Power Reel to:
harass or target individuals;
create unlawful blacklists;
discriminate unlawfully;
expose private information;
misrepresent a participant’s actions;
collect information for unrelated marketing;
create advertising profiles from chat users.
14. Application settings and outputs
The Power Reel provides several possible output methods.
Output performance may depend on:
system hardware;
graphics drivers;
Windows settings;
OBS settings;
capture method;
monitor configuration;
media formats;
third-party software.
You are responsible for testing your selected output before going live.
We do not guarantee compatibility with:
every OBS version;
every capture method;
every display configuration;
every virtual-audio device;
every graphics driver;
every streaming utility;
modified or unsupported operating systems.
The native Capture Window may use a fixed 1920×1080 rendering stage to preserve output quality.
Resizing, scaling or recapturing output through third-party software may affect quality.
15. Audio
The Power Reel may produce audio through its output renderer, desktop audio device, Browser Source or another selected route.
You are responsible for configuring OBS and Windows so that the same audio is not captured more than once.
The Power Reel is not responsible for doubled audio caused by capturing both:
Application output audio; and
the same audio through OBS Desktop Audio or another duplicate route.
You are responsible for monitoring audio before broadcasting.
16. Updates
The Power Reel may provide:
maintenance updates;
security updates;
compatibility updates;
bug fixes;
feature updates;
content updates.
Some updates may be required to continue using online features, Platform integrations or licence services.
We may discontinue support for an older version where maintaining it is no longer reasonably practical or secure.
An update may:
add features;
remove obsolete features;
modify layouts;
change system requirements;
address Platform API changes;
correct security issues.
We will not intentionally remove a core paid entitlement without a legitimate technical, legal or security reason.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of important local settings and content where backup functionality is available.
17. Beta, preview and test versions
We may provide beta, preview, portable or test versions.
These versions may:
contain defects;
be incomplete;
change without notice;
use test API credentials;
require manual updates;
include diagnostic logging;
be unsuitable for critical productions.
You use a test version at your own risk.
Test versions should not be treated as final customer releases unless we expressly state otherwise.
18. Support
Support may be available through:
email;
support forms;
diagnostic reports;
website documentation;
application tools.
Unless a paid support agreement states otherwise, we do not guarantee:
a specific response time;
24-hour support;
support for third-party software;
support for unsupported modifications;
recovery of lost local data.
We may ask you to provide:
screenshots;
Application version;
Windows information;
diagnostic reports;
reproduction steps;
relevant OBS settings.
Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details or streaming-account tokens.
19. Refunds and cancellation rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory statutory rights.
Where applicable law gives you a right to cancel an online purchase, that right applies according to the law and the information provided at checkout.
For digital content supplied immediately, the statutory cancellation right may end once supply begins only where you expressly requested immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose the cancellation right.
If that consent and acknowledgement were not properly obtained, your legal cancellation rights may remain available.
Where the Application or purchased Content is faulty, not as described or does not meet applicable statutory requirements, you may be entitled to remedies such as:
repair;
replacement;
price reduction;
refund.
Paid digital content is covered by the digital-content provisions of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and statutory liability for those rights cannot simply be excluded by contract.
Refund requests may be processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.
Any voluntary refund policy shown at checkout is additional to, and does not replace, your legal rights.
We may refuse a discretionary refund where:
the request is fraudulent;
the product has been substantially used;
the licence has been shared;
Content has been unlawfully redistributed;
the request falls outside a stated voluntary refund period;
there is no legal or contractual entitlement to a refund.
Lemon Squeezy may also issue refunds or take action under its own policies, including where this is considered necessary to manage chargebacks.
20. Chargebacks
Contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to resolve the issue.
An improper or fraudulent chargeback may result in:
suspension of the Licence;
deactivation of devices;
restriction of future purchases;
recovery action where lawful.
A legitimate chargeback or exercise of a statutory right will not be treated as misconduct.
Where a purchase is refunded or reversed, the related Licence and digital entitlements may be deactivated.
21. Intellectual property
The Application and Content are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws.
Except for the limited Licence granted in these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.
You must not:
copy the Application except for lawful backup purposes;
modify or create unauthorised derivative versions;
reverse engineer the Application except where applicable law expressly permits it;
decompile or disassemble the Application unlawfully;
bypass access controls;
remove copyright or trademark notices;
impersonate The Power Reel;
use confusingly similar branding;
distribute the source code or packaged files;
use our Content in a competing product.
“The Power Reel”, its logos, interface designs, boss designs and related branding are owned by us or licensed to us.
22. User submissions and feedback
You may submit:
support messages;
bug reports;
suggestions;
reviews;
screenshots;
recordings;
feedback.
You retain ownership of original material you submit.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use submitted material where reasonably necessary to:
provide support;
investigate a defect;
improve the product;
document a problem;
protect the service;
respond to your request.
We will not publicly use identifiable screenshots, recordings or testimonials for marketing without permission, unless the material was already intentionally made public and our use is lawful.
Ideas and general feedback may be used to improve The Power Reel without an obligation to compensate you.
23. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
use The Power Reel unlawfully;
distribute malware through or alongside it;
attack our servers or licensing systems;
probe for vulnerabilities without permission;
scrape private service endpoints;
steal accounts or licences;
interfere with another user’s service;
impersonate another person;
automate fraudulent entries;
manipulate winner selection deceptively;
use bots to create false participants;
use the product for harassment;
infringe intellectual-property rights;
distribute pirated boss packs;
circumvent payment or activation;
misuse support systems.
We may investigate suspected abuse and preserve relevant evidence where lawful.
24. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable product but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
Availability may be affected by:
maintenance;
updates;
internet outages;
Platform downtime;
API changes;
server failures;
security incidents;
licensing-provider outages;
payment-provider outages;
events outside our reasonable control.
Local features may continue to function where technically possible, but connected features require the relevant third-party service.
25. Warranties and consumer rights
We do not exclude or restrict any warranty, guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For consumers, the Application must meet applicable legal standards, including requirements relating to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and conformity with description where those standards apply.
Subject to those mandatory rights:
the Application is supplied based on its documented functionality;
individual artistic or design preferences are not defects;
third-party Platform changes are outside our control;
we do not guarantee increased viewers, income, engagement or channel growth;
we do not guarantee that a giveaway will comply with every jurisdiction;
you remain responsible for testing before a live production.
26. Liability to consumers
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
death or personal injury caused by negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
deliberate misconduct;
breach of obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded;
your mandatory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for loss that:
was not foreseeable;
was caused by your failure to follow reasonable instructions;
resulted from unsupported modifications;
was caused by a third-party Platform;
arose because you failed to back up important local data;
relates to business activity where you purchased solely as a consumer.
27. Liability to business users
If you use The Power Reel wholly or mainly for business purposes:
we are not liable for loss of profit;
loss of revenue;
loss of anticipated savings;
loss of business opportunity;
loss of goodwill;
indirect or consequential loss.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a particular product or event will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
28. Indemnity for unlawful events
If you use The Power Reel for a commercial event, giveaway or promotion, you are responsible for claims resulting from:
your event rules;
your failure to provide a prize;
unlawful eligibility requirements;
misleading statements;
infringement by material you add;
breach of Platform rules;
your unlawful or fraudulent conduct.
Where lawful, you agree to reimburse reasonable losses incurred by us because of such conduct.
This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify us for matters caused by our own breach or negligence.
29. Suspension and termination
You may stop using The Power Reel at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
material breach of these Terms;
fraud;
chargeback;
licence sharing;
piracy;
security risk;
unlawful use;
technical abuse.
Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the breach.
After termination:
your right to use the Application may end;
licence activations may be disabled;
you must stop distributing or using protected Content outside any surviving permission;
provisions concerning ownership, liability and dispute resolution remain effective.
Termination does not remove rights that accrued before termination.
30. Changes to the Application
We may modify The Power Reel to:
add features;
improve usability;
correct defects;
maintain compatibility;
respond to Platform changes;
protect security;
comply with law.
We will aim to avoid materially reducing core paid functionality without a legitimate reason.
Cosmetic changes, interface improvements and compatibility changes do not create an automatic right to a refund unless required by law.
31. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms where necessary because of:
changes to the product;
new features;
new Platforms;
legal requirements;
security requirements;
provider changes;
business changes.
The updated Terms will show a revised date.
Where a change materially affects existing users, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
Changes will not retroactively remove a paid entitlement already granted unless required by law, security or a circumstance outside our reasonable control.
Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.
32. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected and used.
You should review the Privacy Policy before:
connecting a Platform;
submitting support information;
activating the product;
using chat-based participant features.
Where these Terms and the Privacy Policy concern different subjects, both documents apply.
33. Notices
We may send important notices through:
the Application;
the website;
the email used for purchase;
the email associated with a support request.
You are responsible for keeping your contact information accurate.
Notices to us should be sent to:
34. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your Licence without our written approval, except where applicable law expressly permits transfer.
We may transfer these Terms to a successor or purchaser of The Power Reel, provided that doing so does not reduce your mandatory rights.
35. Severability
If a court finds part of these Terms unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be adjusted or removed to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
36. No waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision, that does not mean we have waived the right to enforce it later.
37. Entire agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the product description and applicable checkout terms form the agreement concerning your purchase and use of The Power Reel.
Nothing in this section excludes liability for fraud or prevents reliance on mandatory consumer rights.
38. Governing law and courts
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you retain any mandatory protections given by the laws of your country.
Consumers in:
England and Wales may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales;
Scotland may bring proceedings in the Scottish courts;
Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in the Northern Irish courts.
Business disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless we agree otherwise in writing.
39. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint.
Include:
your name;
purchase email;
order number where available;
Application version;
clear details of the issue;
the outcome you are requesting.
